Before your complimentary consultation, below are some things to think about...
Think about the style and overall effect you want - Look through bridal magazines and books to get an idea of what style you’d like for your wedding - modern, romantic, sophisticated, and opulent are just a few examples. Tear out photos and search the web for pictures of flowers, bouquets, and décor you love.
Consider the Budget – For practicality and discussion purposes, it is a good idea to know about how much you want allot to your floral budget when you come for your consultation. Flowers and décor are usually between 10%-15% of the overall wedding budget.
Choose your Venue - Your venue will really help you narrow down the ideas since certain styles will be more complementary to the décor.
Choose your dress and bridal party colors - The bridal bouquet is meant to complement and accessorize your wedding gown as well as draw attention to you, so the dress is an integral part of the design process. The bridal party colors and styles are also helpful in designing the overall concept.
Decide who will need flowers - Make a list of how many people will need personal flowers (corsages, boutonnieres, etc) and what you think your table and guest count will be. This will help us to ensure that your proposal includes everything you need.
