DELIVERY POLICY FOR FLOWERS & PLANTS:
 
Delivery Area
Hana & Posy only delivers in the Greater Philadelphia Area.  Please refer to the flower & plant delivery zip codes page or call the store at 215.733.0505 to check our delivery area.
 
Delivery Times
Orders should be received by 5pm on the day prior to delivery.  Please call Hana & Posy at 215.733.0505 for same day delivery orders or orders after 5pm of the day prior to delivery to determine availability.  Normal delivery times are 11am-5pm daily for orders going to a business and 6pm for orders to a residence, hotel, or hospital. During major holidays such as Valentine's Day and Mother's Day we may operate extended delivery hours. Deliveries are available on Mondays thru Saturdays.  
 
Specific Delivery Times
You may request a time frame for delivery when ordering and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

Residences
The physical street address and apartment number where applicable of the recipient's home is required; a post office box number is not acceptable. The recipient's telephone number is required for address verification and to ensure that someone is present to accept delivery.
 
Offices
The physical street address of the recipient's workplace is required; a post office box number is not acceptable. The recipient's telephone number is required for address verification and to ensure that someone is present to accept delivery.
 
Funeral Homes
Funeral home orders are our highest priority. If you have ordered too late to make the funeral service we will contact you to let you know as soon as we can so that you can make other arrangements or have something sent to the home of the family.  If you do not know the zip code or exact address of the funeral home, please contact us via phone or email and we will help find it.  If you have selected a delivery date that is before the actual viewing we will deliver to the viewing per the funeral home instructions.  When ordering funeral flowers, please include the name of the deceased as well as the funeral home to prevent any confusion in delivery.
 
Schools
Schools do not accept deliveries for students.

PO Boxes
We are unable to deliver flowers to a P.O. Box or an A.P.O. addresses.

If no one is home
Depending on the delivery location, if no one is at the residence at the time of delivery, the delivery person may leave the floral or plant delivery in a safe place for the recipient to retrieve when they return, such as with a neighbor, or leave a message for the recipient to call to arrange for delivery. Re-delivery charge will be additionally charged when applicable.

Incorrect Addresses
If the recipient's address is incorrect and delivery was attempted to the address, there is a $10 address correction fee.   Hana & Posy is not responsible for deliveries made to incorrect addresses submitted to us by the customer.  If such a delivery is made, the customer assumes responsibility for the entire purchase.

Canceling an Order
Due to the urgent nature of florist delivered products we are unable to cancel or change orders already in process, en route or delivered. To cancel or change an order that has not been processed, please call 215.733.0505.

Requests to leave item at door
The customer assumes all liability for requests to leave arrangements in cases where the recipient cannot accept the arrangement themselves.

Recipient refusal of delivery
If the recipient refuses to accept a delivery, you may be held fully liable for the cost of the floral arrangement/plants and the delivery cost.
 
Card Messages
The message that you write in the order is the message that is sent with the flowers or gifts. We do not include any billing information with your order.
 
 
SUBSTITUTION POLICY FOR FLOWERS & PLANTS:
 
Fresh Flowers
We are committed to delivering your flowers on time and as fresh and beautiful as possible. Because of the nature, seasonality, and regional availability of flowers, it is sometimes necessary to make substitutions.  We will make every effort to maintain the "look and feel" of the arrangement by considering the overall shape, size, style, and color combinations. 

Plants
For green and blooming plants, similar plants may be substituted of equal or greater value. For one-of-a-kind plants, such as orchids, we will make every attempt to match the plant type, but may substitute another color. Containers for plants will be as close as possible.

Substitutions for Special Occasions
Due to the importance of delivering orders for special occasions, such as funerals, birthdays, and anniversaries, on specific days, we may make a substitution to ensure timely delivery, if the flowers you requested are not available, and we are not able to contact you via the phone number(s) or email address you provided us.
 
 
RETURN POLICY FOR FLOWERS & PLANTS:
 
Flowers and plants cannot be returned.  Please call the store at 215.733.0505 if you have any concerns regarding the quality of our flowers or plants.
 
 
SHIPPING & RETURN POLICY FOR GIFT ITEMS:
 

Shipping:

The physical street address of the recipient's home or workplace is required.  Our gift items are shipped via UPS.  

Note that most of our products cannot be "bundled" for shipping.

 

Returns:
Gift items returned in their original packaging with a receipt may be returned for a full refund within 21 days of purchase.  
Gift items returned in their original packaging without a receipt may be exchanged or returned for a merchandise credit within 21 days of purchase.
